Cameron was born in Melbourne Australia and is a resident of Geelong Victoria since 2012 and began the journey of The Shaun Miller Foundation in 2015 after watching his only child and beloved son Shaun pass away in his arms from Childhood Congenital Heart Disease CHD in 2012. Shaun was a double Heart Transplant recipient and became a hero to the Cardiac Kid’s when he embraced CHD Heart Ambassador of the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne Australia     the first cardiac child in the hospitals 149 year history. Cameron entered show business / film industry at the age of 15 auditioning at NIDA National Institute of Dramatic Art at the age of 19 he was advised to get some more life experience but working hard on the fringes of the film industry as a bit part player actor he learnt the   hard way that acting wasn’t for him so gravitating to the filming side when he realized you can have a great Film but if it’s not distributed properly who is going too watch it?. Cameron always knew too surround yourself with successful people and learnt from the best close friends icon Actor Charles “Bud” Tingwell O.A.M and Australia’s leading film distributor Alan Finney O.A.M. He completed an intense course in film making in Melbourne with LA Producer and film  educator / line producer Dov Simens who launched the careers of Quentin Tarantino, Chris Nolan, Spike Lee and Guy Richie Cameron produced two Australian classic films ‘YESTERDAYS HERO‘ and ‘GROOMLESS BRIDE‘ and worked on a screenplay with Bud Tingwell for 12 years titled ‘SECOND DRILL‘ Buds first direction position in his long and successful film career but sadly passing away before release in May 2009 to the prestigious honor of a Victorian State funeral. Verdict Film Groups first distribution was for the South Australian Film Corporation ‘SHOT OF LOVE’ 2006 after gaining extensive knowledge in distribution he spend time in heart of Hollywood    where he created connections and became good friends with some of the leading Studio Producers and major acting Agents in L.A – ICM and Voltage Pictures.

Few people in the Australian movie industry have a list of credits like Alan, Managing Director of Village Roadshow Distribution, Vice President of Walt Disney Buena Vista, Founder and Director of OzFlix movie streaming channel, Board Chairman The Shaun Miller Foundation, Board Chairman AFI / AACTA Film & Televison Academy Awards, an Order Of Australia for services to Australian film and the Maura Fay Award the industries highest acolade. President of distribution and marketing he directed and released over 500 successful motion pictures including, Breaker Morant, Mad Max, Romper Stomper, The Piano, Muriel’s Wedding, Finding Nemo, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Happy Feet and pretty much any Australian movie you can think of… the man with the midas touch is leading Verdict Film Group into new horizons of Australian film and television entertainment.

Michael has a lengthy and successful career in video sales marketing and acquisitions dating back to the early 1980’s. Management positions at Congress Video Group and VidAmerica before being recruited by Orion Pictures management and releasing their huge blockbusters, Dances With Wolves, Silence of the Lambs, Robo Cop, Amadeus, Platoon, Caddyshack, The Terminator, The Addams Family, Monty Python’s Life of Brian, Bill & Ted’s Adventures and many more. Management at MGM Studios and Lionsgate International Studios he contributed to revenues that rose from $32 million to $110 million and then First Look Studios where he coordinated a 500% increase in sales, distribution and motion picture marketing.

Ian is an icon of Australian television, writer, actor, director, producer. He is best known as the creator of the brilliant comedy T.V hit series The Comedy Company which he directed and performed in from 1988 to 1990. His genius created Australia’s most memorable characters including, Con The Fruitier, Kylie Mole, David Rabbitborough, Uncle Arthur, Colin Carpenter to name a few. He has a list of successful television programs and is an author of two books, Mind Wars: The Battle for Your Brain and the comedy classic Going Out Backwards.

If Australian cinema has an equivalent of American movie king Roger Corman, it’s Antony I Ginnane. A producer and executive producer  with more than 60 feature films, telemovies and mini-series, he is one of Australia’s most prolific and experienced producers best known for highly successful genre pictures Fantasm (1976),  Patrick (1978), Thirst (1979), Turkey Shoot (1982), Grievous Bodily  Harm (1988), High Tide (1987) and the Oz classic The Light Horsemen. Latest productions Never Too Late (2020) The Girl In The Window (2021). He is the former head of Screen Producers Association of Australia and an international film sales agent for over 20 years.

TERENCE GUTHRIDGE

TERENCE GUTHRIDE

Terence acts as Executive Producer, Co producer, production manager and legal advisor. Attended both the prestigious University of Melbourne and Monash University. Has a Masters Degree from the Bath University in the UK and a Juris Doctor of Law from The University of Melbourne where he was awarded the prize in Intellectual Property. He is a barrister at law and an entertainment / film lawyer. Prior to coming to the law Terence Guthridge was a film and television producer for over twenty years. He was tutored and mentored by Alfred Hitchcock’s famous student and international producer / director Richard Franklin of Hotel Sorrento, Blue Lagoon and Psycho fame. Studied Film Production directly under world renown US filmmaker and educator, Dov Simens and Australian producer / director, Colm O’Murchu (The Makeover) .Terence greatly admires the work of other Australian Directors such Baz Luhmann  (The Great Gatsby) , Fred Schepisi (Fierce Creatures) Phillip Noyce (Patriot Games) and cinematographer / director Geoff Burton (Sirens). He is an Award winning producer in his own right and producing and directing numerous television and film programs. Retained      as a legal consultant, entertainment lawyer and executive producer, he is one of only a handful of experienced executive producers that is university qualified as an Executive Producer in Screen Entertainment, Film and Television Distribution Law and Intellectual Property Law.

Dr Martin Ching is a registered specialist Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from Melbourne University in 1984. Following further full time study Dr Ching was awarded a masters degree in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from the University of Adelaide in 1995 and followed with a Medical Degree from the same university in 1997. In 1998 Dr Ching also successfully completed the fellowship for the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons. Consulting from his private rooms in Geelong. He also holds accreditation’s with Saint John of God Geelong Hospital. Dr Ching is also a registered Lawyer and Legal Practitioner.

Darryn is a world famous photographer known best for founding and heading a paparazzi photo company called Big Pictures, this photographer also worked for the Geelong News and the Daily Mail. Born in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. His passion for photography started at a young age and he attended Geelong East Technical School, where he was regularly dux of the school. An Australian media personality, entrepreneur and politician, who rose to prominence in Australia and the United Kingdom as a paparazzo and held the position of Mayor of Geelong from 2013 to 2016.
